Dollar Tree is stocked up for Valentine’s Day, guys! You need to hurry and grab what they’ve got before it’s all gone. And, I am not paranoid. I am so serious. If you want to make this Silent Sweetheart Wind Chime, you’re going to have to RUN to grab a pack of the cute conversation heart foam stickers we used for this project.
Every holiday, they stock up on all the goodies a month or two in advance. About a week or two before the big day, everything good is absolutely gone. I swear this is one of the easiest DIY projects known to man. There has been a beautiful Galvanized Steel Trash Bin on our IKEA shopping list for quite a while. There was just so much work to be done out in the patio that left us no room for extra gimmicks and gadgets out in the backyard even if it meant having the coolest Galvanized Steel Trash Bin & Spray Painted Copper Handles on the block. I love to throw festive parties and events, as you can tell by the many posts on my blog about having the perfect gathering. This season calls for fresh, lively colors! With that being said, a few weeks ago for my brother and sister-in-law’s birthday at our house, I set the table with a colorful Spring Floral Arrangement and made individual Spring Lemon Place Cards with everyone’s name. I wanted to use the bag of lemons we bought for lemon water that week but without puncturing or ruining them. I wondered if to scatter them around the table or to fill a vase with them. And so I searched… Read More
For the first time in a decade I fit into a size MEDIUM and I am completely over the moon! These last 3 ½ years have been tough and it has definitely not been easy to keep on the weight loss bandwagon. I want to give up at least 11 times a day and sometimes it’s inevitable to feel lazy. God has given me strength to push past all of this. He’s really shown me patience in this whole process. Through this all, I can finally feel comfortable to go to the beach and lay out by the pool. And for that, my friends, I have made myself the cutest and comfiest Summer Beachy Flip Flops. Read More
Don’t you hate when you need to plug in your phone to charge somewhere in your house and your phone ends up sitting on the floor catching dust and running the chance that it can get stepped on by anyone who walks by, including the dog? I hate that so much. That’s why I created a Smartphone Charging Holder. It’s more like a charging station, isn’t that catchier?
Anyway, I thought maybe Smartphone Charging Holder would ring up the number of repins it gets on Pinterest even though Smartphone Charging Station sounds so much cooler.
I had seen a couple DIY projects on Pinterest before about how to make a cute and dainty looking area to stick your phone in while it charges. You can use this for any phone and maybe even a small tablet—depending on the size of it. You can also get creative and use a different type of container that is larger and would hold a large object better. Read More
